Frequently asked questions

How do reminders work?

Pawssport sends local notifications based on the lead time you choose (for example, 1 day or 3 days before). We also send a reminder on the due date itself so nothing slips through. Reminders fire at 9:00 AM in your device's local time.

Why didn't I get a notification?

Make sure notifications are enabled for Pawssport in Settings → Notifications → Pawssport. If Focus or Do Not Disturb is on, iOS may suppress alerts.

Where is my data stored?

All your pet data is stored locally on your iPhone. We do not upload it anywhere. If you have iCloud Backup enabled, the data may be included in your device backup managed by Apple.

How do I back up or move my data to a new phone?

If you restore your new iPhone from an iCloud or encrypted iTunes/Finder backup, your Pawssport data comes with it.

How do I delete my data?

You can delete individual pets or records inside the app. To remove everything, delete the app from your device — this removes all data associated with it.

Is Pawssport free?

Yes — Pawssport is free to download and use.

Does Pawssport replace veterinary advice?

No. Pawssport is a record-keeping and reminder tool. Always consult your veterinarian for medical decisions about your pet.
